Prine Bonnaroo & "Broken Hearts" First Listen

John Prine performed at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival this past Saturday, June 12. Despite the intense heat and sunshine, his 16-song set went off without a hitch in front of a diverse crowd at the That Tent stage.

His set was punctuated with wonderful performances of "Lake Marie" and "Angel From Montgomery" with members of the Old Crow Medicine Show. Kris Kristofferson even joined in with Prine and Old Crow on the set closer "Paradise." NPR was there to capture the action. You can stream and relive the entire performance on their website.

Prine was also on hand to interview with Chicago's WXRT radio. You can listen to his conversation, as well as hear his Backstage at Bonnaroo special performances here. Ketch Secor and Willie Watson join Prine once again for these special three radio performances.

And NPR's First Listen is the only place where you can hear the new Broken Hearts & Dirty Windows: Songs of John Prine record in its entirety. Check out their website to stream the project.

This celebration album hit stores on June 22, and you can learn more about it on its official website.
